Location: Maxixe, Inhambane, Mozambique
About Us
Olimax is located in Maxixe, in the charming province of Inhambane, in southern Mozambique, a region rich in biodiversity, traditional culture and vibrant communities.
It is in this setting of palm trees, beaches and fertile land that we produce our raw and organic coconut oil, in close collaboration with the local populations.
Our location is not just a point on the map: it is the heart of our purpose, to promote sustainable development rooted in the land and the people who cultivate it.
Inhambane, a land of good people, proudly preserves traditions passed down from generation to generation. From dances to the sound of drums and timbilas, to the art of fishing and sustainable agriculture, life in Inhambane is marked by an intimate relationship with nature and the rhythms of the community.

Our Product

Sustainability
At Olimax, sustainability is not a trend. From harvest to the final product, we apply practices that serve as a guiding principle.
From harvesting to the final product, we apply practices that respect the cycle of nature, reduce environmental impact, and add value to the coconut.
Community
The foundation of our work lies in the hands that cultivate, care for, and transform.
Olimax believes that true development happens when rural women and families are placed at the center of change. In Inhambane, we work side-by-side with local communities, recognizing and valuing their knowledge, strength, and dedication.
How we operate:
Direct cooperation with local producers and farmers to ensure a fair and supportive production chain.
